So if it's all over the web already, hold onto it and send us something new. We probably wouldn't find out, but you're not doing yourself or our readers any favors. thanks....

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you Pay for submissions?

No. In case you don't know by now, 63channels has not made a single penny's profit in the 4 years we've existed. There is no company or small press behind the name, just one man,  a handfull of volunteers and you, the people that submit. If we were to ever sell advertising or raise prices on products above production costs, we would gladly pay for submissions, but for now, sorry. I'll continue to be a horrible businessman, and you'll continue to be a starving artist = )

In the case of the print magazine, we literally price the magazine at the cost of production, and in the case of the calendar all profits go to The Art Conspiracy, a online arts community where i usually find all of the artists for the calendar.

What should I expect From the submission process??

Because 63 channels is updated bi-monthly, it may take a few weeks before you receive a response. If you are chosen to be featured on the site, you will be expected to provide us with a short bio, a link to any other websites you have your work on, and if possible a picture. All rights to your work belong solely to you, and we are simply displaying it. If you miss the cut off for the upcoming issue, your work will be kept on file and considered for the following issue, so don't give up!

What happens when my time as Featured contributor is up???

If you are a Featured Writer, your work will be added to the Archives section and will be searchable by anyone that visits the site. If you want to be removed from the site after your time is up, you must submit an E-mail requesting to be removed. Unfortunately we just don't have the space to archive columnists or artists. Also, once you have been a featured artist, Featured writer or Featured fiction contributor, there is a 1 issue waiting period until you can be eligible to grace our e-zine again. This only goes for the three specific spots listed, you may continue to submit work as a columnist, reviewer, or general writing/poetry contributor.

How do I get my work in the 63 Channels store?

The 63 Channels store is a way for me to promote my site and give some of my favorite artists some extra exposure. Due to the fact that this is for the benefit of this site, all art used on merchandise will have a small 63 channels logo on either the top or bottom of this piece. Due to the fact that I usually feature my own poetry on merchandise, the only submissions I Will accept are artwork, graphic design and logos. Payment based on store profits will be discussed privately with selected artists.

Can I plug my own site on 63 Channels?

Sure! You can submit a text address and description to be displayed on the links page. In order to do this you will need to put a 63 Channels link up on your site in a relatively easy to find location.
